Leonardo DiCaprio founed the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation in 1998, to actively fostered awareness of environmental issues through participation with such organizations as Natural Resources Defense Council, Global Green, USA, the International Fund For Animal Welfare, and National Geographic Kids. Howard Schiffer founded Vitamin Angels Alliance after a career in the natural foods marketplace which included creating or developing a number of well known brands including Balance Bars. Vitamin Angels is dedicated to providing basic nutrition and fighting vitamin A deficiency, childhood blindness and other vitamin deficiency diseases around the world. They have numerous programs supporting children and expecting mothers. Within a week after Hurricane Katrina hit, Vitamin Angels had ten trucks loaded with vitamins going out of warehouses south of Houston.

Matt Dalio is the Founder of China Care Foundation, Inc. and President of its Board of Directors. His passion for China started when he lived for a year in Beijing, China at the age of eleven. Even at a young age, Matt Dalio was able to see the difficulties suffered by many special-needs Chinese orphans, and in 2000 at the age of 16, he founded an organization that would aid in giving these children a better future. In addition to being the founder of China Care, he is also a founder of the online non-partisan blog newspaper called TheIssue.com. Mr. Dalio is a graduate of Harvard University.

Seeing many parks and open spaces in dire need of cleanup and restoration, Ms. Midler created NYRP to be the “conservancy of forgotten places,” particularly in New York City’s underserved communities. To achieve this vision, NYRP partners with individuals, community-based groups, and public agencies to reclaim, restore, and develop under-resourced parks, community gardens, and other open spaces in New York City.

Jourdon Urbach is a teenage concert violinist who founded Children Helping Children, a musical charity foundation which fundraises nationally for pediatric divisions of hospitals and medical charity organizations. CHC has raised over 1.3 million dollars since its inception. Proceeds from Jourdan’s Carnegie Hall Debut went to benefit The National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
